The Department of Physics currently offers a Peer Mentoring Programme for first-year students. The pilot project is available initially to first-year female Physics students, but will be made available to all students in all years in the future.
VSETH has asked its members in the survey wiegETHs about their general state of health, mental wellbeing, and their experiences with discrimination and misconduct. This has resulted in five action papers to date. In D-MATH, there is a task force of professors who are raising awareness of these issues among students. There is interest in the Department of Physics to participate in this. The VMP has formed a working group to develop the rules.
