Mechanical Workshop
We provide services for the Department of Physics and all other departments. With our state-of-the-art machines and broad expertise, we can manufacture a wide spectrum of mechanical parts.
In collaboration with the departmental engineering office, we carry out complex and large-scale projects. The machinery available, together with the expertise of our employees, enable us to fulfil almost all of our customers' requirements and to offer a wide range of services. The only exceptions are surface treatments and part sizes that exceed the input-size capacity of our machines. The workshop also serves as an educational and teaching platform. Our staff currently mentor nine apprentices on the path to become polymechanics. Of great importance to the education of our students is the ability to provide them with a sound basic knowledge and insight into advanced processing techniques.
