"The diverse world of ETH"
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the ETH Alumni Association, ETH Globe highlights 20 alumnae and alumni who are using their knowledge to help shape our world. Among them are three physics graduates: an Olympic ski champion, the current Swiss Federal Chancellor and the CEO of a Swiss multinational group.
ETH graduates are constantly achieving great things — as architects, engineers, researchers and in all kinds of other fields. Over the past 150 years, these graduates have fostered the development of the ETH alumni network.
In a compliation by Nicol Klenk, ETH Globe gives insight into what motivates and empowers them. They place 20 well-known and not-so-wellknown alumnae and alumni are under the spotlight, representing all the ETH graduates who are using their knowledge to help shape our world.
Among the 20 personalities are the three physics graduates: Dominique Gisin (Olympic downhill ski champion), Walter Thurnherr (Swiss Federal Chancellor) and Christian Buhl (CEO of the Geberit Group).
