More than 30 partcipants from all over the world meet in the HIT building to present and discuss the latest results of space-based X-ray missions to observe nearby supermassive black-hole growth (such as external page NuSTAR, external page Swift and external page Maxi). Discussions include current topics in the field as well as the question of what can be learned from future X-ray missions.

The scientific organizing committee is chaired by Michael Koss (Ambizione Fellow in the group of Kevin Schawinski). The conference is sponsored by Swiss National Science foundation.
