Safety Council
The Safety Council acts by mandate of the Department Conference. Its goal is to ensure the safety of D-PHYS staff and students in their daily operations, to raise safety awareness, and to provide information about safety in the workplace.
Tasks of the Safety Council
- The Safety Council is responsible for sustainably embedding safety measures in the department.
- It supports and fosters the exchange of information between D-PHYS staff and external experts.
- It points out shortcomings regarding safety matters within D-PHYS and advises on remedial measures.
- It acts as the main point of contact for D-PHYS staff concerning matters of safety and provides support in their resolution.
- The council meets prior to every Department Conference to discuss topics relevant to safety.
