Suggest a speaker for the Zurich Physics Colloquium
Each semester, AMP co-hosts a speaker for the Zurich Physics Colloquium who was chosen out of your suggestions.
Upcoming AMP choice for the ZPC in autumn 2024
The AMP choice for the Zurich Physics Colloquium in the autumn semester 2024 has been selected among the proposed speakers:
We are excited to introduce David Moore from Yale University, whose research in experimental nuclear and particle physics explores neutrinos, dark matter, and microscopic gravity. He is also developing sensors and accelerometers capable of searching for new forces using optomechanical sensors. Join his exciting talk on November 20, 2024, at the ZPC! You can find more information on his talk here.
Suggest the next AMP choice speaker for the ZPC
Do you know a scientist doing exciting research and transmitting their enthusiasm for their field? Then suggest them as a speaker for the Zurich Physics Colloquium of spring 2025 and, with a bit of luck, be their host when they come to ETH! If your proposed speaker is selected, AMP will be happy to help you organize the visit. Also note that the costs are covered by the ZPC or AMP, not the group budget.
To make a proposal, send us the name of the speaker together with a short description of the topic and why you think they would be a great choice for the ZPC using the form below.
