D-PHYS Shop
The D-PHYS shop managed by the Department of Physics includes a central purchasing and invoicing office for its customers.
The D-PHYS Shop is open to all members of ETH Zurich. Payment arrangements must be cleared with the purchasing and invoicing office in advance; private purchases with credit card payments are also possible with the exception of semi-finished products.

Main services
As of 1 October 2023, D-PHYS Services are required to increase the processing costs for semi-finished products to CHF 8.00 per cut (plus material costs) for customers of other departments.
Unfortunately, this measure is necessary to cover the additional costs of workshop staff required, as the attempted "membership solution" has not proved successful. The processing costs were calculated based on the number of orders of the last two years and are within the range of equivalent prices of commercial suppliers.
