Zurich Physics Colloquium
The Zurich Physics Colloquium is jointly organized by ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich. Its mission is to bring both students and faculty into contact with the newest scientific developments in the natural sciences.
The Colloquium takes place during the academic semester, on Wednesdays at 16:15, in the auditorium HPV G 4 on the Hönggerberg Campus of ETH Zurich. The Colloquium is followed by an apéro.
The programme is conceived for students and faculty with diverse interests ranging from astrophysics and quantum electronics to condensed-matter and high-energy physics. Leading experts present the basic questions in their field of research – predominantly in physics but also in biology, chemistry and environmental science – and share their fascination for their subject.
Further information is found on the Zurich Physics Colloquium page.
The recordings of past colloquia are collected on the Video portal page of the Zurich Physics Colloquium.
